Being configured well, smooth, with perfect pronunciation does not magically make a voice sound good. Arguing against their duckness with how smoothly they sing is kind of irrelevant. ...Did she change her outfit? I've only seen her in song-specific outfits and that flashy seifuku. What tires you in UTAU the most? To me, it's the massive amount of Vocaloid rip-offs. Honestly, I want them all to rot. Picture related, it's how I perceive them.
The fact that almost all the UTAUloids are bisexual or gay just for 'avoid conflicts' or for owner's pleasure. Also, the typical horrible concept art w/ Miku's pose...EW.
All the recolors. We understand that you're trying to make designs, but please stop recoloring other vocaloids. Please try to be a little more creative. Another thing is that some UTAU creators cannot take criticism. I know that some people are harsh and/or trolls, but others are trying to help out. Take it with a grain of salt. I could go onto the whole trolling thing, but that's anywhere you go, so it's a moot point (for me) to complain about.

What are the best designs? personally I'm liking some of the ones that lean away from the arms band and school uni vocaloid themes... But I'm not really too fond of the elaborate head wings and animal ears some people use. Originality and animal ears don't mix well.

If you're going to advertise your Utauloid, I really don't care that much. Now if you're going at it in such a way as to do some viral marketing, make sure you do it well, otherwise it just looks bad on your part. My question to the creator is why did you go for the double look?

What UTAUs do you think need work in their designs? I think the most (out of the ones i've seen) is probably this one. She just looks like Miku with different clothes. It really doesn't seem like the author put a lot of work into the character design. Which is sad, because I think with a more original design she could be a much, much better UTAU :<
also, this one. tbh i think she looks like the gothic lovechild of teto and rin. no offense to the author or anything. its just i think she could do with a re-design ^^;

You are asking for fanart of an utau that is virtually unknown with a design made on the anime character base program. Yes, there sure are going to be loads of fanart of something that doesn't even have an original, official design! No sane person would actually request that, which leads me to believe you are actually her creator. Protip: Give her a better design. Everyone knows about the anime character maker, especially in the utau fandom, because lots of people use it. It looks cheap and generic, and there will be very little fanart of this character to post in "threads" like these until you do. You could do a lot better than this if, you know, you actually tried even a tiny bit. There was no effort here at all.

It's hard for regualr utau that have been around for awhile and have fully completed voicebanks to get threads like these not from their creators, nevermind ones with anime generated "art" AND them being WIPs. Don't think so. Just to let you know, your utau isn't going to get lots of discussions and fanart. I'm not saying this because I'm trying to troll you or anything, but most utau never even get any recognition outside their creators youtube. And that ESPECIALLY goes for newer ones. Not that you are alone in thinking that way, most people who start out making an utau think if you google their utau's name a bajillion topics and pics about them will show up. I've been using utau for about a year now and I've never seen it happen, except for popular utau like Kenta, Tony & Camila. But it's extremely difficult for new utau to get popular, unless your art is amazingamazingamazing or you're friends with popular utau's creators and they plug your utau for you. Considering that more than 500 utau were created so far in 2010 (That's only 8 months) and only 1 or 2 actually got recognition as a popular utau in the overseas community should show you how hard it is to get noticed.

I like way more UTAUloids than that, but the list is already long enough.
