Sir, I think you are absolutely right about Rin. I've always seen her as a sort of super villain trying to claim the world as her own, which is probably why she has such dislike for Miku (epsecially in all the ways she gets more attention than Rin, being around first, being a fan favorite, and every perverts and typical "KAWAII" screamin aniime fangirl alike).
My thoughts on her relationship with Len are that he really is her right hand man (even though he seems to be left handed himself). He goes along with everything she says, even if he doesn't quite agree, mainly out of loyalty to her and also fearful adoration.
I think of them as siblings, so as the older twin, Rin's probably the more dominant of the two, so Len has no choice but to go with her schemes.
..It's why I like songs like Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil so much... it's a great demonstration of Rin's pure, delicious evil and how people act toward her, who's her victims, her minions and those she fights against.
I see Rin as a crazy bitch who would crash through a daycare center in her roadroller if it meant more power and status to her.
...
Well, there's my rant.
I love Rin more than any other female anime character. She's such a breath of fresh air from those big breasted bimbos you see so often in anime and while I think Rin can have her sweet and cute moments, she's really a devious little devil who will do anything to get her way.
